Make sure you are parked on a plane surface and that you are safe and visible. Use your emergency blinkers and parking brake.
Remove the hub vehicle and free the lug nuts with a car tire iron. Do not exclude the lug nuts yet.
Discuss the owner’s manual of the vehicle on where to place the jack. It should be the most active part of the vehicle frame. Turn the handle until it makes contact with the bottom of the vehicle frame.
Continue cranking until the tire is high enough off the ground to be removed easily. Do not let any part of your body get below the vehicle while it is on the jack.
Now you can finish extracting the lug nuts, keeping them secure in the hub cap.
Place the spare tire onto the wheel’s studs, then replace the lug nuts. Make sure they are on as fast as possible.
